October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Home for the Holidays

Here we are hopping thru the blog again.
If you are coming from Jilena's Blog, you are on the right track,
otherwise you can start here and do a complete circle.
This month's stamp set is called Home for the Holidays and looks like this:

The ones with red lines around them work with our Cricut Cartridge Art Philosophy! The size listed is what to set your dial on the Cricut to cut and the stamp will fit inside it!

Here is the card I made:

The top layer behind the bear is Washi Tape, then there is a strip of our Teal Shimmer tape followed by a section of our Christmas Paper called Snowhaven - there is a sheet that is all different strips - making it look like I layered several items behind the bear!

I stamped the tag in Cranberry to make it a pop of color. It's raised with foam tape. I also added glitter glue on the snowflakes to add a little more sparkle. (Sorry I think the glue is discontinued).
Thanks for looking and now hop over to  Sarita's blog to see what great things she created with this stamp set!

September Stamp of the Month - Family is Forever

Here we are hopping thru the Blog hop again!  If you've come from Haley's blog, you are on the right path, otherwise, you can start here and you will do a complete circle.

September's stamp set is Family is Forever:

I created this card from the stamp set:
I used the tree for the base of my tree.
I used Pathfinding Paper Pack and a 1 inch circle punch. (I hit an acorn perfectly!)
The Family is Forever Stamp I blocked out each section when I stamped.
You can't tell but the edges for the circle are up on the bottoms.
Here is the inside of the card and the other half of the stamp.
Thanks for looking ~ please leave a comment.
Now hop over to Michelle's Blog for more great ideas with this stamp set!

My Sister's Birthday Card

My sister has a great yard filled with tons of flowering plants and trees.  She has a garden of fruits and veges throughout  her yard as well.  She literally removed all her grass and did plants and paths everywhere.  So for her birthday, I did a Strawberry Pop Up Card!  She's got a ton of those too!

The card is part of a set at SVGCuts.com and I made it on my Cricut using MTC software.

I post on Facebook and forget to put things here!

August Stamp of the Month - What a Hoot!

This is the stamp of the month for August:

This is the silly card I made:

You can see from the top shot below that I used foam tape to make the eyes, wings and flowers stick out.  The flowers and wings have foam tape only on the top so they are raising off the page.

I USED OUR NEW MARKERS TO COLOR THE OWL!
(you can see them tomorrow with the new catty online)

I used the fat side to do his body and the small end to do the wings.
Also the flowers are with the markers too.  I used just our regular inks to stamp the image.
I just didn't color over the stamped image a lot.

I random stamped the pumpkin on the bamboo paper.
Thanks for looking! Please leave a comment.

June Stamp Of The Month - Kaboom S1406

Jumping thru the blog hop you should be coming from Katy's blog, if not, start here and continue and you will make a complete circle.

Here is the stamp set:

First Card with random stamping and washi tape creating bling!
This second card I white embossed the fireworks to look like raised flowers and then sponged yellow ink over it softly.  I also added some strong yellow lines using our water color pencils.  The green grass and stems are all water color pencils.  The grass was blended, not the stems.

Thanks for looking and please leave a comment.
Then hop over to Kathleen's blog to see her great artwork.

Mother's Day Card

July Stamp of the Month - Sweet Life S1307

Can you believe that it's July already?!  The weather hasn't been the greatest so we are enjoying every night day and night we can!  If you came from {Nancy's blog} you are on the right track.  If you are starting here, that's okay because this hop makes a complete circle.

Here is this cute stamp set for July:

This stamp set can only be purchased during the month of July.  You can buy it by it's self for $17.95 or with a $50 purchase it is only $5!  Go to my website for details: www.maryeisen.ctmh.com.

Here is my card I made with this stamp set:

Now you will notice that the cutting around the image that I stamped isn't perfect - that's my secret - this one wasn't my first choice.  When I use markers or water colors in this case, I stamp several images onto a sheet of paper and then I play with the colors until I like what I see.  I had the whole thing done with a bright green for the leaves and didn't really like it.  I found an Olive water color pencil and the rest is history... I used Trinkets Wooden Shapes for the Butterfly and Baker's Twine Harvest Assortment for accents.

Thanks for looking and now it's time to HOP over to {Angela's blog} to see that other great ideas you can do with this stamp set!

Stamp of the Month Blog hop - Pinwheel

If you are coming from Nikka's blog, you are on the right track, or keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

This month's stamp set is Pinwheel:

Love this set but didn't want to just do the pinwheel.  So I created a random stamped background using the star.  I then added the words, but stamped them twice, in two colors.  I cut or the tulip and popped it with some foam tape.  Same goes with the lagoon star!  This set looks awesome with the Dream Pop Paper - go to my website to see that!

Now hop over to Jen's blog to see what great things she made this month!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - My Sunshine

We are hopping around for the Stamp of the Month again - even on Easter!

If you are coming from Laurie's Blog, you are on the right track!
If not, keep jumping and you will do a complete circle.

Here is the stamp set this month:

Remember, that all the items outlined in red are on our Cricut Cartridge - Artiste.
So I cut a few of them out . . .

I layered the balloons after stamping them in different colors.  I used foam tape to make them pop!
I sponged the baskets to add color to them. I used Sky Ink for the clouds and sponged the edges. The hard part was lining up the stamps with the balloon pieces.

Of course, I've been in the kitchen creating too . . .

(He now has a dark purple jelly bean nose)
Thanks for looking, now hop over to Krista's Blog to see what she has created!

Happy Easter!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - February Home Sweet Home

If you are coming from Krista's Blog, you are on the right track! If you are starting here, keep clicking and you will do a complete circle.  This is a great way to see a ton of creative ideas for the stamp of the month!

Here is February's Stamp set:

This stamp set means more to me than I think to some people.
The stamp I used is the the top left.

I sell real estate and in the last couple of years I've had to watch families give up and walk away from their American Dream - their home and home ownership.  I've also had to come to the belief that as long as I'm with my family and we are healthy, then I have all I really need and it doesn't matter where we live.

I made this for my hubby for Valentines Day.
I know he'll understand the hidden deeper meaning.

Hey! Let's do a little Game!  What stamp set is the heart from - It's an oldie but a goodie!

Now hop on over to Wanda's Blog to see what she created with this stamp set!

January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

We enter a new year and a new blog hop!

If you are coming from Nikka's Blog, you are on the right track, if not,
keep hopping and you will make a complete circle.

This month we are doing Valentines Day stamps.
This stamp set is called Happy Valentine's S1301 - you can get it for only $5
with a purchase of $50 or you can buy it for $17.95.

Here is the stamp set:

I made a Valentine's card, but you could do so much more with this set. I used Cashmere Ink to stamp the image. I then used our color pencils to color in the flowers and leaves. I used two different color pinks/purples pencils. I went to outline a leaf and hated the color so I cut out the flower image and to hide the boo boo I put that leaf behind the box I made for the Happy Valentines. Chocolate Ink was used for the Happy Valentines Day stamp.

Thanks for looking, now head over to Wendy's Blog for some more great ideas for this stamp set.

Don't forget to have a happy, safe and wonderful new year!
Right about Midnight the three of us will be celebrating with Sparkling Grape Juice!

Whooo's Your Valentine Blog Hop

We are hopping again for a special that is kicking off December 13! (Tomorrow)
If you are coming from Susan's Blog, you are on the right track,
otherwise, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

Just spend $35 dollars in product and get this awesome kit with directions to make adorable Valentines treats for only $10!

You get tubes and pre-cut cubes and a whole 12 x 12 sheet of Silver Glitter Paper and this great stamp set:

The rules for this hop is that we had to do something other than the kit it's self.
So I saw the owls and I thought what a great card for Christmas!
There is 3 in my household so this is just the right amount of birds!

I cut the leaves and the branch freestyle.
The winter "gear" came from another stamp set - can you guess which one?
It's an oldie but goodie!

I stamped the ear muffs twice so that they overlapped and cut out the smaller center one
to create a tiny one for the little owl.  Let me know what you think!

Now hop on over to Lucy's Blog for more great ideas for this stamp and kit!

November SOTM Blog hop - Capture the Moment

If only I could capture time!  It's been a whirl wind around here!  Brownies starts tomorrow and of course, I'm a co-leader.  The hubby had a trade show last week and did wonderful so we are doing it again this week in another city! And if that wasn't enough I have a Weekend Retreat the following weekend! I won't be home for a month of weekends!!!

Enough whinning!

If you came from Carla's blog, then you are on the right track, if not, keep hopping and you do a complete circle!

Here is this month's stamp set:

So what do you do with a bunch of months and numbers???

I created a background by using all the November's and number 1's - It's my Dad's birthday - can you guess what day it is??? (Yes, November 1st!)

I used Slate Ink for the background and Holiday Red for the Happy Birthday. I wrapped Baker's Twine around the corners and popped some foam squares behind it to make stand off the card and be taller than the twine.

Please leave a comment and then head over to Dawn's blog for more great artwork with this stamp set!

October Stamp of the Month - Very Merry Christmas

Here we go again hopping, but this time to the holidays!
If you came from Shirley's blog, you are on the right track, if not, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

I DON'T WANT TO THINK OF CHRISTMAS YET!
But I will for this Hop!

 Here is the stamp set!
CTMH likes to put their stamp sets out 2 months prior to the events - like Christmas!

Remember, all the red outlines are items that can be cut out using our Cricut Cartridges!
This one works with Artiste!

I went one step further in the Cricut Craft Room and
welded mittens back to back and made mini present tags!
(There is a vertical and a horizontal flip button)
(if this came out of the oven, I'd be a head chef!) hee hee
I used 3 of the stamps for the inside - YES the TO and FROM are part of this set!!
I stamped the pink stamp onto the front of the card and then stamped the blue
on an extra piece of Colonial White cardstock and cut off the cuff.
Add some glue and sprinkle with Prisma Glitter and TA-DA!
I did a dozen of them - stocking up for the future!

Thanks for looking!  Please leave a message.
Also, you can get this stamp set for $5 with a purchase of $50!
See my shopping page for details: CLICK HERE.
Now head over to Elizabeth's blog for more great artwork with this stamp set!
