Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Wild About Love

Welcome to the February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!!
If you came from Sarita's blog, then you are going the right direction, if you are starting here,
that's ok, keep hopping and you will make a complete circle.

This month's stamp set is:

Wild About Love

Sooo perfect for Valentine's Day Cards! I made 2!!!

Ok, now some of these stamps I can't just put on anyone's card/envelope
- so I saved the best for the hubby!
The Wild Thing is raised with foam squares and
the hearts were stamped with textured stamp set and sponged.

I put this in the inside and that on the envelope!

THIS IS MY DAUGHTER'S CARD!!! Do ya get it????
Bling on the flower!
TIP:  When cutting out things with your cricut to go with our stamps CUT MORE THAN ONE!!!
(my sister consultant Kathy B reminded me of this)
Why? Not just for mistakes, but for using later! I did a bunch of sizes and shapes and filled a whole page.
I put them into a drawer for use later - some of these shapes will be used in future SOTM stamp sets!!
Thanks for looking, leave a comment and please keep hopping! Next is Lucy's Blog!

October Stamp of the Month - Scandinavian Wishes S1310

Hello, and welcome back again for the stamp of the month blog hop!  If you are coming from Shelia's blog, you are hopping around perfectly, if you are starting here, keep going, you will make a complete circle.

This month is a fun stamp set called Scandinavian Wishes - great for Christmas, even though I don't wanna be thinking of Christmas just yet, I did do a Christmas card!

Here is the stamp set:
Here is the card I created:
I stamped the image with Whisper Ink on a 6 x 6 card stock.
I then did the image a few times in Cotton Candy,Chocolate and Pear.
The pink paper is from Dream Pop and has embossed lines.

The base of the design was done in Cotton Candy and the other colors were cut out and glued on.
The deer were raised with foam tape as well as the house shape.

Thanks for looking, now hop over to Dawn's Blog for more great designs done with this stamp set.

More art from Chicago

The photo above is a picture of Monica's family on the beach with a rug under the chairs - how cool is that!?

Some of these items won awards - like the picture frame below and others were auctioned off to raise money for Operation Smile

Above is a chalk board with our new fabrics. I think the canvas 6x6 are the bases!

Love the balloon PARTY banner on the left!
Cupcake cards that the wrapper opens - all on our Cricut Cartridges!

See the pie boxes above too?!

Paper Doll house!

Learned some great techniques with our markers and stamps!  I'll have to do a class!

The cat has sparkles on the pillow, don't know if you click on the photo if they will show!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Floral Happiness

If you are coming from Joy's blog, you are on the right track. If you are starting here, keep hopping and you will make a complete circle!

This is the stamp set for March:

I had a hard time with this stamp set. . . .

I didn't like just stamping the flowers in two colors. I'm way too out of the box for that.

So I tried to do inside the box and just stamp flowers with 2 different colors . . .

I didn't like the way it looked.

I tried St. Patrick Day colors:

What about doing some masking and talk about a technique:

OOOOOHHHHHH, the green on green looked great!  Making a bunch of flowers - Thanks A Bunch . . .

I was warming up to this until I put the detail stamp on top and it looked like CABBAGE PATCH!!

So out came the bunny stamp and Whala!
Easter Card No. 1 for 2013!
(I made the front flower and the bunny stand out from the card using foam squares).

And the inside reads: Happy Easter to my peeps!

Hmmm . . . Maybe more color on the front:

Thanks for looking.  HOP over to Jill's blog to see what neat things she has made with this stamp set!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Life is Tweet

If you are coming from Tamra’s blog, you are on the right track. If you are starting here, just keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.
This month’s stamp set is SUPER ADORABLE and called Life is Tweet:

See that red line around the flower stamp?  I focused on that one!  That red line means that image is on our Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and yes I cut them out and created with it!
I’ve had a crazy month, but managed to get everything done!  My daughter’s last day of school is today!  We went shopping and filled a goodie bag up with tons of fun things for her Teacher, Teacher’s Aide and the two bus drivers she has!  I put them in a cello bag tied with ribbon and added a small flower with a dragonfly sitting on it for decoration.

The flower is from this stamp set!  Also, I cut out a circle to cover up the Life Is Tweet saying in the middle. The dragonfly was also done on the Cricut and I stamped a Background stamp over him and then sponged more ink to fill in the white areas.

The back of the bag is below – lots of goodies!

I found/created 4 thank you cards in my stash of cards and attached them as well.
Another card I did I Scrap Lifted from a fellow consultant and I’m using for my Dotty For You Workshop – Get the paper by end of today and you too can be doing the workshop too! Workshop is: 6 Two Page Layouts, 13 cards, and 1 Mini 6x6 Album!
photo
You stamp the bird onto patterned paper and then cut his body out, then stamp the bird onto the white cardstock and place the body on top of the legs!  The white cardstock was also cut on the Cricut and cut in half.  Also, Next Month is Buy Two Stamps Get One Free!  So start a list now!
Now, off to pack the little one for a sleep over, prep for 4 birthdays parties and a work party all in the next 2 weeks! The fun never stops!
To continue  - hop on over to Carla’s blog for more great ideas for this stamp set.  Please leave comments as often as possible! Thanks for reading!

Harley Davidson Birthday Card

We have friends that are big into Harley Davidson and so for her birthday I made this card:

DSC01865

We were invited to the Moose Lodge for the party.

The first “T” in Betty and the “L” in Gebler are the original letters from when it said MOTOR CYCLES.

I also did a wall name for them too.

DSC01866

The whole care is done with outdoor vinyl and my Cricut.

There is Red, Black, White and Orange vinyl.

DSC01867

There is Diamond Plate Vinyl for the strips in the inside.

Card Swap!

Here are the circle cards I made for our CTMH Meeting this month.
Thank You cards were the only requirement
and an embellishment from a certain page in the catalog.
I'll post the cards that I received from the group shortly.
