Writing on the wall

Something I did before Christmas, my church asked me to do some "writing" on their wall! I cut and and installed this on their wall! My husband and I did it during a school day. Boy, did we draw attention from students and staff. It was fun and I'll be doing more for them again!

Thanks for looking!

Micky Mouse Ears!

A friend of mine asked me to make this for a little boy's room.  Here's what it looked like on my computer.
And because I took it with my cell phone I can't rotate these to their side . . . But you can see that they are ready to be picked up and stuck to the wall.  I have the transfer tape over the vinyl already.
This is called Walter Fonts - go figure (hee hee)

Gotta have the ears!

Harley Davidson Birthday Card

We have friends that are big into Harley Davidson and so for her birthday I made this card:

DSC01865

We were invited to the Moose Lodge for the party.

The first “T” in Betty and the “L” in Gebler are the original letters from when it said MOTOR CYCLES.

I also did a wall name for them too.

The whole care is done with outdoor vinyl and my Cricut.

There is Red, Black, White and Orange vinyl.

There is Diamond Plate Vinyl for the strips in the inside.

Vinyl Princess

A person I know mentioned that her walls had a knock down finish and that vinyl didn't stick to her walls. I asked if she bought it as a pre-made image from a store - and she said yes.  So I did two sample pieces for her to see if my vinyl would stick better.  I'm hoping that she will want more art on her walls once she sees the commercial vinyl sticks better.  Here are the images I did for her daughter's bathroom:
Allie & Katie - I forgot to take pictures prior to putting the transfer tape on the images.
I couldn't leave out my baby girl - so I added one for her too!
Here it is on her bedroom wall above her bed - on the knock down finished wall!

New Banner

I created another banner for my church.  This one included a very large logo that spanned 3 mats.  I had to piece three parts together and it worked perfectly!
Thanks for looking.

Grandchildren's Names

I had a friend ask me to design names for her granddaughter's rooms.  I took bold block letters and cut out some flowers and swirls from the letters.  I added a dragonfly and ladybug too.  I wanted each to be just a little different.  This is just the sample artwork, the vinyl is on it's way to being installed on their walls.  I've been promised photos when they are installed.  I took the dragonflies and ladybug and put them on the side so that they can be flying outside of the letters too.  I'll post pictures when I get them.

Volleyball Team Signs

I was asked to create signs for the West Bend High School Volleyball Team!
I loved doing this!
It only took 3 days to cut and assemble all the vinyl!
I was up to 1am only one night!  The second night I finished at 7pm!
They decided to surprise the coach with a sign for her yard too!
I came up with the idea of using the ball for the "O"
The team was sweet enough to do a team photo for me holding all their signs!
They won that night so now my signs are lucky!

Vinyl and the Company Truck

I was tickled when friends asked me to do their company truck.  Here are the pictures:

BEFORE:
 AFTER:
We did it in reverse on the hood:
Me goofing off for the camera, we were hot - it was a bad day to be doing this.
Then the rain came and cooled us off - had to run the vinyl into the house so the paper backing wouldn't get soaked.  Then I sat out in the rain to cool off.
Here is the finished Van - all 4 sides are done! Here is Driver's side below
The Passenger's side:
I did Tracy's SUV too!  This is the back windows on both sides
And if you ever need a HVAC person, they are the ones to go to!

St. Patrick's Day - Flash Back

Not really a flash back, but a forgotten post!

Here are some mugs I glass etched for a friend of mine that throws a great St. Patrick's Day Party at her house.  Her hubby makes this to die for Irish dinner for us and the house has people coming and going all night long, eating, drinking and good times!  Last year she had me do a Guiness Sign for her on a mirror with gold vinyl.
The picture above is what the back (on the left) will look like.
The back right is what the front will look like.
This is the vinyl that will keep the glass etching chemical in place.
I cut the vinyl on my cricut. They loved them.  I got the mugs at the dollar store.
My friend's last name is Becker.
There is a full 4 leaf clover on the front,
the back vinyl is showing thru the front one.

Celebrate Easter

Here is a banner I did for church a few weeks ago.  I've been busy but I've remembered to take pictures.  Just haven't had time to post! The hubby is hiding behind the banner - we haven't done our hair, just finished the banner.
Here is the before picture - clean yellow banner I warned church it was gonna be neon!
Here is what the Easter Lilies look like cut out of paper.  I like to do a test run on things I haven't tried before.  I layered the flowers in white onto the green. I was scared the white wouldn't cover or I wouldn't be able to line up the leaves but it worked out pretty good.
Here is the base for the flowers all done in green.
The flowers will have an outline of green around them.

A close up of the flowers!  I think they turned out really good!
Let me know what you think.

For the Dogs

As this posts, I'm setting up for my weekend retreat, so I scheduled some things to post while I'm gone to keep you company.  I found this picture and remembered I did a few things I forgot to post prior to Christmas.  I did 11 vinyl projects with my friend Teri and her daughter Melissa and forgot to take pictures!

Patti came over and needed a picture frame dressed up for a Christmas present.  I took out some Silver and Black vinyl and added the puppies names and HAPPY TAILS to the frame. Quick and easy but turned out pretty good.

Christmas Vinyl Part 2

Yesterday I posted the deer artwork, here is the ornament artwork and another with words and a bow.

I used vinyl on the outside of the glass and added real bows to each ornament.
Here is one with a ribbon.  I wish I knew how to make a fuller bow - next time!

Vinyl Christmas Art

I created these two deer using MTC and tracing the clipart.
This is what one looked like prior to sponging mountains and grass.  I tore paper to create the mask for the mountains.
You can't see the grass on the one above very well.
This one is a little better. I used brown vinyl and put it right on the front of the picture frame.
This is what it looks like on the mat with a little transfer tape.
Thanks for looking.
