September Stamp of the Month - Family is Forever

Here we are hopping thru the Blog hop again!  If you've come from Haley's blog, you are on the right path, otherwise, you can start here and you will do a complete circle.

September's stamp set is Family is Forever:

I created this card from the stamp set:
I used the tree for the base of my tree.
I used Pathfinding Paper Pack and a 1 inch circle punch. (I hit an acorn perfectly!)
The Family is Forever Stamp I blocked out each section when I stamped.
You can't tell but the edges for the circle are up on the bottoms.
Here is the inside of the card and the other half of the stamp.

Stamp of the Month Blog hop - Circus Alphabet

We are hopping again thru the blog hop.
If you came from Shirley's blog, keep hopping and you'll do a complete circle
- or start here and continue a circle from here.

The stamp of the month is Circus Alphabet:
When I did this layout last week I knew what I would be doing with the photos!
I used the stamp set to do the words: CARNIVAL FUN
We attended Greek Fest in Milwaukee and my daughter went on every ride a dozen times!
A close up of the letters. I used our old markers (hint hint) to color the letters in.
The paper was a June Special paper pack!

June Stamp Of The Month - Kaboom S1406

Jumping thru the blog hop you should be coming from Katy's blog, if not, start here and continue and you will make a complete circle.

Here is the stamp set:

First Card with random stamping and washi tape creating bling!
This second card I white embossed the fireworks to look like raised flowers and then sponged yellow ink over it softly.  I also added some strong yellow lines using our water color pencils.  The green grass and stems are all water color pencils.  The grass was blended, not the stems.

December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Special Care

Hello again and welcome to our monthly blog hop!  If you came from Katy's blog, you are on the right track, if not, start here and keep hopping, you will do a complete circle.

This month's stamp set is Special Care:

Three of these stamp can be cut out with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge - see the red outline.

I thought of my baby girl when she was in the tub in Wisconsin Dells. It's really a hot tub in our hotel room. She and Daddy had a blast - better than the cold pool!  It was Thanksgiving weekend 6 years ago.

WARNING NAKED BABY PICTURES:
I used the HANDLE WITH CARE stamp and created a background paper by stamping the image in rows.  I White Pigment stamped the Special Care stamp on the top right. There's even a Warning Label stamp.
The top is the left page and this one above is the right.  I have this one in the page protector because I added flip flaps to the center, on top of the page protector so they can be opened without having to take out the page.  Underneath is naked Daddy chest - and I promised to hide that - but still scrap them.
A couple of clear gems for bling and sparkle.

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - September

If you are hopping from {Katy's Blog,} you are on the right track, if you are starting here, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

This month's stamp set is called Poster Tidings S1309.

In my years, I've created 100's of layouts and many are still sitting unfinished
because they are made for class examples.
I dug deep into my stash and found these pages and finished them.
I really wanted to do something Fall so I dug thru our photos and found these.
Our daughter was just turning one and it was the fall of 2007.

I stamped this 4 times in 4 different colors.
I then cut up the words and used foam tape to "pop" the words out.

Our lake house and the hill around it had such great colors
in fall when the leaves would change.
We sold our house and boat shortly after this due to the economy falling.
We have great memories and pictures - plus we were able to move across the street
so the lake isn't too far away.
Check out the rare antique embellishments that I used on this layout! hee hee

Can you see the hot air balloons in this picture?
They almost touched the water when they came into the Kettle.

October Stamp of the Month - Very Merry Christmas

Here we go again hopping, but this time to the holidays!
If you came from Shirley's blog, you are on the right track, if not, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

I DON'T WANT TO THINK OF CHRISTMAS YET!
But I will for this Hop!

 Here is the stamp set!
CTMH likes to put their stamp sets out 2 months prior to the events - like Christmas!

Remember, all the red outlines are items that can be cut out using our Cricut Cartridges!
This one works with Artiste!

I went one step further in the Cricut Craft Room and
welded mittens back to back and made mini present tags!
(There is a vertical and a horizontal flip button)
(if this came out of the oven, I'd be a head chef!) hee hee
I used 3 of the stamps for the inside - YES the TO and FROM are part of this set!!
I stamped the pink stamp onto the front of the card and then stamped the blue
on an extra piece of Colonial White cardstock and cut off the cuff.
Add some glue and sprinkle with Prisma Glitter and TA-DA!
I did a dozen of them - stocking up for the future!

Thanks for looking!  Please leave a message.
Also, you can get this stamp set for $5 with a purchase of $50!

Dotty For You Workshop Part 1 - 4 Months Long!

I created a 4 month long workshop for my regular ladies if they qualified and purchased the Dotty For You Paper Pack.  We will finish 6 layouts, 1 Mini Album and 13 Greeting Cards!  This is one of the layouts.  These ideas for the projects all came from other consultants who did the Dotty For You Blog Hop.  I was too busy creating cutting guides to attend.  I will try to give credit when I can, but just know I didn't create these and I did modify them a tad bit and then turned it into one big cutting guide and workshop.

First Layout:

The stamp set is Hooray Bouquet and most of the flowers can be cut out with the Cricut Cartridge AP.
Cut the flowers, stamp the image layer and glue, Repeat!
Here is what the layouts look like with photos!  I remembered this dress of Jeanie's, the photos are a little fuzzy but she's so darn cute in the hat and dress.  She loves hats!

I wanted to remember the story so I added this picture on the back and  typed details of the day.  It's funny! I wanted the front to be clean and simple.  Don't know another way to do it but with notes on the back.
Thanks for looking!

National Stamping Month Blog Hop

Hopping for the 3rd time this month - we are some busy girls!
If you came from Dawn's Blog you are on the right track,
if you are starting here, keep hopping and you will make a complete circle.

From August 15th through September if you place a qualifying order you can get this DOUBLE STAMP SET for only $5!!

LOOK AT ALL THE CUTE STUFF! Many items work with the Artist Cricut Cartridge too!

Plus, we have a bunch of items in the
"While Supplies Last" that are at a huge discount
click HERE to go shop and check it out!

I made this card using our White Pigment ink and stamped the dots onto black cardstock.
Here you can see the dots better on the black, I loved how it's uneven the saturation.
Also, I did a second generation Desert Sand Ink stamping on the white behind the LaBelle Vie Mauve Cardstock. I edged the card in the Desert Sand ink as well.
I stamped the bike 4 times, one after the other without refilling on ink to get the look of movement. I added 2 Bitty Sparkles in the Lightest Green to the tires.
I thought the zig zag stamp made a great tire track for the inside of the card!

Now hop on over to Krista's Blog for some more wonderful ideas with this stamp set!
Thanks for looking!

New Product Blog Hop - La Belle Vie

We are doing some extra hopping this month!  We decided to showcase some of our new products!  So a bunch of us consultants got creative and you get to hop thru our ideas!

If you are coming from Mchelle's blog then you are on the right path, if not, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

I've been a bad girl.

I ordered my my product late.

They aren't due to arrive until August 9th - that's next week.

So knowing I was in a pickle I emailed my fellow consultants in my area and asked for help.  Bev B. who lives 45 minutes away calls me like an hour after emailing!  She's heading to my town and saw my email prior to leaving, she threw everything she had that was new into her SUV! Since she's doing lunch with family in my town, she thought she'd help me out!!! (Also, I received another mail later from Mary B. offering to meet me on Sunday - I thanked her but that would be too late!)

What a great group of ladies I have to network with!

So with a half a pack of La Belle Vie and my family, I created this layout:

I used the Magic Book and created the layout called Illusion on page 94 - 95.

  Close up of each side

I even added the fold out section they suggested in the book
I stamped the cover with The Best Things C1503 stamp set
You can read the inside - top is the folding out to the right and the next photo is flipping it over.
I have a few photos I need to add to the fold out
Group shot!

Yes, I started this on Friday and finished it on Sunday!
I even ordered photos this morning from Walgreens and got them in an hour!
(Free 8 x 10 today only!)
Yes, I was bad, but good I got it done on time.
Thanks for looking and now go hop to Dawn's Blog for more great new products to see!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Baroque Borders

If you came from Sheila's Blog, you are going in the right direction, if not, start here and keep hopping and you'll do a complete circle.

Here is what this month's stamp set looks like:

They are fun and huge!  I wanted to do something with heat embossing so here is my card:

I'm still looking at this card and thinking "hmmm.....it needs something...." I used gold embossing powder for the gold and Twilight paper and ink for the rest.  I used 3 stamps from this set to create this card.
Close Up.
Maybe words under the little black box like "happy birthday" in a tiny font....  Or I'll pop the center flourish off and do something else - who knows!  I enjoyed embossing my whole office - the central air conditioning would turn on just as I was pouring the powder and I felt like Tinkerbell with pixie dust.

Thanks for looking and now hop over to Allisa's blog to see some other great ideas for this stamp set.
