More art from Chicago

The photo above is a picture of Monica's family on the beach with a rug under the chairs - how cool is that!?

Some of these items won awards - like the picture frame below and others were auctioned off to raise money for Operation Smile

Above is a chalk board with our new fabrics. I think the canvas 6x6 are the bases!

Love the balloon PARTY banner on the left!
Cupcake cards that the wrapper opens - all on our Cricut Cartridges!

See the pie boxes above too?!

Paper Doll house!

Learned some great techniques with our markers and stamps!  I'll have to do a class!

The cat has sparkles on the pillow, don't know if you click on the photo if they will show!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - My Sunshine

We are hopping around for the Stamp of the Month again - even on Easter!

If you are coming from Laurie's Blog, you are on the right track!
If not, keep jumping and you will do a complete circle.

Here is the stamp set this month:

Remember, that all the items outlined in red are on our Cricut Cartridge - Artiste.
So I cut a few of them out . . .

I layered the balloons after stamping them in different colors.  I used foam tape to make them pop!
I sponged the baskets to add color to them. I used Sky Ink for the clouds and sponged the edges. The hard part was lining up the stamps with the balloon pieces.

Of course, I've been in the kitchen creating too . . .

(He now has a dark purple jelly bean nose)
Thanks for looking, now hop over to Krista's Blog to see what she has created!

Happy Easter!

July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Live Out Loud

IT'S JULY ALREADY
SLOW DOWN SUMMER!!!!!

I need to slow down.  I'll be attending my 2nd Graduation Party tomorrow, I've been to 4 birthday parties and there is still 3 to go!  Relatives coming in from out of state in August and we still haven't taken the new camper to a site - but we did sleep in it 2 nights this week via back yard - REALLY testing that air conditioner!

Anyway, if you came from Pamela's blog, then you are going in the right direction, if not, keep jumping and you will do a complete circle.  This month it's these cute word stamps!

I decided to do something black and white. A simple card on my
Cricut using the AP Cartridge.

The top butterfly was cut out of the bottom of the card.  I cut the center frame out but not before I cut an additional one so that this one nested better (frame in a frame).  So there is a thin 1/4 inch frame scrapped.

I stamped the word Soar in black and used foam tape to make the frame stand off the card.

Thanks for looking, please feel free to comment.  Now hop over to Wanda's blog and see what great ideas she had!

The letters were too!  I have 3 more words to add to the right page.
The flags below are from the Cricut too!
I have foam squares under the flags to pop them off the page.
I have our new orange bakers string over the top of the flags!

Art Philosophy & Fondant Flowers

Remember this photo from the last post?

This is what it made when I rolled it up and TRIED to create a flower:
It's SOOOOO small that it barely photographs well.
I rolled the petals down so it opened up.

Here's a few other views.
Next time I'll do a bigger flower -
also, it was crazy trying to roll it up like you would do with paper.
I started to melt into itself making it mush.
Thanks for looking!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - February

We are hopping again!  This month the stamp set is called Thoughtful Tidings.

If you came from Nikka Geers' Blog, you are on the right track - if you are starting here, just keep hopping and you will do a complete circle!

I had technical difficulties that can't be fixed. I found out that my ink pads that match the colors used in LUCY Paper Kit are not juicy.  I had a hard time stamping the solid letters except for my newer Pear ink pad!  So I only did 3 cards.  I need re-inkers!

Love this paper!  I made these from the scraps from the New Product Blog Hop project!
You can never have enough thank you cards.  I have a goal to hand out more this year.
I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the ovals, and shapes to stamp on.
To layer the two colors of paper, the back one I added 1/4 more to the size.
Here is a picture of all the stamps on this set - don't forget 2 things:
1) Everything with a red line around it can be cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge
2) This stamp set can be yours for as low as $5 with a qualified purchase
- email or go to my CTMH site for details.

Thanks for looking,
now hop over to Georgia Hauglid's Blog for more great ideas for this stamp set.
