August Stamp Of The Month - Wicked Blog Hop!

Can you Believe it's August???
This month's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop is Wicked! I love the stamp set!  The lady witch is neat and all the other stamps as well!  You should be coming from Sheila's Blog, if not, you can keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.
My cards are very simple because my stamps came late due to Convention - but that's totally worth it!

here She is!  I added some Citrus Leaf lines to fill in and as some color.

A nice fuzzy close up!

The left inside - that is a broom stamp that I added a few lines with our markers!
I added the boxes to add text later to and the little kitty - the cat's eye are green like my kitty!
The next card I used the octagon pattern to create the green edge on the bottom.
I then stamped the lines over it the pattern.
Gypsy paper, Choco ink for the colors.
The hat I cut out because the stamp has swirls all around it.

July Stamp of the Month - American Celebration

July - Already!
Can't believe it's that far into the SUMMER!

You should be hopping over from Nicole's blog, if you are starting here, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle - please leave comments often - we love comments :) !

This month we have American Celebration Stamp Set (D1458)
Great for the holiday!

This first card I did was simple and with lots of stars.
I used a sponge dobber to create circles by making small soft circles.  I then stamped the flag and cut out the pieces and glued them onto the stars.
My second card was a little more, but still lots of stars!
I did the fire crackers on the bottom and then added the baby stars above. I sponged a little blue from the fire cracker to the stars and around the stars - made it look softer.  The stars are in two colors Crystal blue with Pacifica dobbed here and there on the stamp prior to stamping.  Followed up with some Glitter Glue to make them sparkle - Click the photo to see it bigger!
Then the red stars where added and I cut out a few of them and used foam squares to make them pop off the card. The celebrate is done the same way.  Glitter Glue is all over the big red stars - the bled a litttle - they still look good once they fully dried.

Now, head over to Carl's Blog to see her great work with this stamp set!
Thanks for looking!

Forgotten Post - Cards from CTMH Meeting

In May we had a Consultant Meeting and we did something a little different.  Instead of a card swap we all did a make and take!  So at the meeting we ended up finishing 4 cards!  Here are those cards:

This slides out of the top of the card to show the message.

The grapes are 2 shades of purple and the boarder below is our Kraft Boarders
We put glitter on the back sticky side and then glued the front to the card.
Fun flowers we made - this was my card that I demontrated.

White embossing powder on white makes it a great card for a wedding.
Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment!

June Stamp on the Month Blog Hop

You should be hopping over from Teresa's blog, if not, just keep hopping and you will make a complete circle.
This month the stamp set is Jubilation - there is just too many great ideas that come to mind with this set!  Almost every holiday is covered in this one!
Here is just a few cards that I did with this set.

Simple flower card - great for any occasion
Add some circles and a saying
I added some pearls to the centers - can you tell I fell in love with the flowers
With the help of a few letters and a fence - a scary card

Not sure what this will turn into - but it's a great Love You Card
I rocked the ends of the leaf into a darker color to give it depth.
And my last simple card - a Celebrate card.
Now hop over to Krista's Blog for some more great ideas using this stamp set.

Modified Baby Album

We cut my daughter's hair for the first time since she was born 5 years ago and I remembered it's something to write in her Baby Book.  Once I opened that book and started reading and seeing a few items missing I spent several days making sure I got back up to speed on all of her memories. There is still plenty for me to finish.

I also decided to add a few extra pictures and the easiest way without covering up too much of the book was to add some Flip Flaps!  Here is some of the extra photos I added to her book:
Above is a post card to all my Real Estate Customers announcing her.
Here is the other side of the post card (above)
My sister did a photo shoot with her all dressed up one day
First trip to the dentist - she got scared
Ended up needing to sit on my lap
Potty training - love the hair - she'll hate this one when she's 16!
1st Cup (the back side of the potty photo - it flips down on this page)
The hair - a small sample of the hair!
 1st Trip - The Dells
 1st Train Ride
1st Birthday and Invite that is attached with Velcro so you can take it out
tickles with Daddy

Mother's Day Card

Made this card for both my Mother and Mother-in-Law.  The lower flower is actually layered with a flower that is raised with foam squares.  I used Cotton Candy ink and then rocked the edges in Tulip ink.  Maybe click on the picture to make it bigger to see it.
Here's the inside.  And below is the breakfast in bed that my baby girl assisted Daddy making!  I got exactly what I wanted! (Down to the Chamilia birth stone charm for my braclet too!)

Jeweled Collection Purple
This was followed up with wish number 3 - a trip to the zoo for the afternoon!
On the Train
By the fish

Thanks for reading and hope your day was great!
