October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Holiday Magic

We are hopping again!
You should be coming from Pamela's Blog, if not, keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.
This month's stamp set is
Holiday Magic

 I love these images!
This first card I was trying to do something soft and simple.
I layered the sleigh and used foam squares.
I have Sparkles on the tree and corner of the card.
I second generation stamped snowflakes so that they are barely there
If you click on the photo above you might be able to see the spritzed Create-A-Shade Paint
that I added to a Spray Pen with a quarter of a tube of alcohol. It should be very shimmery.
Must shake VERY well to mix the paint and alcohol.
I sponged Crystal Blue ink at the bottom for the snow
and then I sponged around the whole card in Chocolate ink to distress it.
This next card I wanted to take a shape and create something totally different than what it is - so the Christmas Tree was used to create a background stamped image.
I stamped the stocking in Cotton Candy and the paper/green stamping is Pear Ink.
I added waxy flax for the top of the stocking and inside the button for the threads.
Some soft pastel buttons finish off the card.
Thanks for looking!
Now hop over to Sarita's Blog to see some more great artwork with this stamp set!

Art Philosophy - My First Project

This is the first project I created from the new Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge!  A friend asked me to put together a class for a wall hanging and this is what I came up with.
The base is chipboard covered by our Christmas Paper called Wonderland.
I used Daisy White Pigment Ink to stamp snowflakes onto the Chocolate cardstock.
I love how it shows up so well on dark papers.
Inside the circles cut out of the letters I have dots of Glitz Stardust Glitter Glue
The snowflakes also has Glitter Glue on them.
I sponged the edges of all the panels with either Chocolate ink or Crystal Blue ink.
The snowflakes are cut using the Art Philosophy, but we also have matching stamps.  See the "W" above, I layered two stamps - in white and crystal blue - and they are the same size as what I cut out.

 LOVE THE STOCKING!!
Here are the snowflakes in Crystal Blue ink!
Thanks for looking and if you would like any of these supplies go to my website to purchase!

New Banner

I created another banner for my church.  This one included a very large logo that spanned 3 mats.  I had to piece three parts together and it worked perfectly!
Thanks for looking.

Grandchildren's Names

I had a friend ask me to design names for her granddaughter's rooms.  I took bold block letters and cut out some flowers and swirls from the letters.  I added a dragonfly and ladybug too.  I wanted each to be just a little different.  This is just the sample artwork, the vinyl is on it's way to being installed on their walls.  I've been promised photos when they are installed.  I took the dragonflies and ladybug and put them on the side so that they can be flying outside of the letters too.  I'll post pictures when I get them.

Volleyball Team Signs

I was asked to create signs for the West Bend High School Volleyball Team!
I loved doing this!
It only took 3 days to cut and assemble all the vinyl!
I was up to 1am only one night!  The second night I finished at 7pm!
They decided to surprise the coach with a sign for her yard too!
I came up with the idea of using the ball for the "O"
The team was sweet enough to do a team photo for me holding all their signs!
They won that night so now my signs are lucky!
