Mom's Birthday Card

I had this card base around and added the cute birdie stamp!
This bird is from the future Stamp of the Month.
I took a yellow marker and outlined the birdie after I stamped him.
Bad photo, but I colored in the flowers.

Card Swap!

Here are the circle cards I made for our CTMH Meeting this month.
Thank You cards were the only requirement
and an embellishment from a certain page in the catalog.
I'll post the cards that I received from the group shortly.

Weekend Retreat Layout Project

Here is the layout we will be doing this weekend at my retreat!
The shapes are all cut out with our new Art Philosophy Cartridge!
The letters were too!  I have 3 more words to add to the right page.
The flags below are from the Cricut too!
I have foam squares under the flags to pop them off the page.
I have our new orange bakers string over the top of the flags!

Retreat Goodie Bag

Gift Boxes!  Totally made by the Cricut!
19 Orange and 19 Lagoon flowers
Stringing the buttons onto Baker's String.
The natural way the buttons go back in forth, they would make a great bracelet.
Here are the contents before gluing:
I pinched the ends of the flowers to give them depth.
Yes, the glue dries clear (whew!  I was worried!)
And here they are filled and closed!

Oops, Computer Issue

For those that get my posts via email, you may have been seeing Linkin requests for you to sign up and Link to me.  I didn't know when I signed up for Linkin it would send out an email to every Tom, Dick and email I ever received an email from.

Long story short, I have people I don't know Linking to me - I'm chalking it up to more exposure to ME!  (Happy Spin)  I unsubscribed my blog email so hopefully the posts will stop showing up here.

You are welcome to join me on Linkin, I just wanted to make sure you understood it wasn't me being pushy.

Thanks for reading!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Potential

Happy Leap Year!

We are Leaping thru another Stamp of the Month Blog HOP!
This month it's Potential Stamp Set.

Remember the red circles around the stamps
mean these work with our Cricut Cartridge!
If you came from  Nikka's Blog, you are on the right track,
otherwise, you can keep hopping and you will do a complete circle.

For this month I did a circle card.  It's harder than it looks.
This is the first time I tried to do round!

I have an old round cutter, but I had to figure out how to do several papers and get them to line up.
Here is a close up on the Sparkling Buttons Bling
Also, I used our 2 inch hole Puncher for the scalloped circle.
This is what I did.  I used my CTMH cutting mat and taped the papers down exactly where I wanted them on the card.  Then I used my old round cutter and put it over the papers and cut away!  I have a white edge because I wanted to make sure it nested inside the card and not hang over the card's edge.  I didn't do all the papers at the same time.  You can see that the Blue and Bamboo Cardstocks are shorter than the Dessert Sand Cardstock.

Thanks for looking!
Now hop on to Jen's Blog for more great ideas for this stamp set!
